Stacy Carpenter is an experienced trial attorney who understands the importance of identifying and employing an outcome-driven litigation strategy that is effective and aligned with her clients’ business objectives. As Practice Chair of Polsinelli’s national Commercial Litigation practice, Stacy combines her strong advocacy skills and her strategic analysis to achieve positive and timely outcomes both in and out of the courtroom.
Stacy’s practice is focused on business disputes, class actions, and real estate litigation matters, and she represents clients in cases filed in state and federal courts and in arbitration venues across the country. She frequently represents clients in the food and beverage industry in both individual and class action matters and is familiar with the industry’s unique business and regulatory concerns.
Stacy also has significant experience handling professional liability claims, particularly those filed against insurance producers and attorneys, and defends insurance benefit cases, including those that arise under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
In addition to maintaining a litigation practice that is national in reach and representing her clients in many jurisdictions across the United States, Stacy also maintains a strong local presence. Born and raised in Colorado, Stacy is active in the Colorado legal community and has served as President of the Denver Bar Association and as a long-time member of the Colorado Bar Association Board of Governors. Stacy is committed to Colorado’s not-for-profit community and dedicates time to serving on various boards of directors, with an emphasis on organizations focused on the protection of children and access to education.
